Sharon Lingham is recognised for her unstinting support for the entertainment industry through the use of Crown Limousines for transport for the many entertainers and performers who visited Christchurch for artistic performance.  Sharon also contributed her business acumen, marketing skills and sponsorship to raise large sums of money fo many charities in Christchurch, including the Canterbury Education and Community Charitable Trust.
